Alliance of Rehabilitation Centres of Ontario (ARCO)
The Alliance of Rehabilitation Centres of Ontario (ARCO) is dedicated to
ensuring the highest quality of interdisciplinary rehabilitation services in Ontario.
In order to advance that goal, ARCO is proposing, among other things, the introduction
of a voluntary system of program accreditation for multidisciplinary rehabilitation
providers, and the development of a continuum of care for musculoskeletal injuries.
ARCO's executive is currently meeting with government and other stakeholders to make
its presence known and to introduce some of the above initiatives.
ARCO was incorporated in February of 2001 as a trade organization in order to promote
best practices in the provision of interdisciplinary rehabilitation in Ontario.
To accomplish this mission ARCO's members are committed to developing solutions to
common problems and enhancing the credibility and visibility of their services.
ARCO's members operate a total of 124 multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinics in
Ontario and ARCO is actively seeking new members.

to the delivery of interdisciplinary rehabilitation. We stand for program
accreditation, treatment outcome measures and a continuum of care that exists

tissue injuries have prompt access to the highest quality rehabilitation
so that they can reduce their symptoms and return to active pre-injury
